緣起：

成立目的：

本中心成立之目的與任務如下：

1. 保存與發揚原住民族文化。
2. 留存與推廣原住民族語言。
3. 培訓原住民族文化、教育與生計發展事務之種子推廣人員與行政人才。
4. 改善原住民族學生教育成就。
5. 設計與提供原住民族文化、教育與生計發展相關課程。
6. 改善原住民族社會福利工作之推展。
7. 建構原住民族社會工作人員體系及培訓社工人員。
8. 提供原住民族職業技能之培訓工作。

相關事務：

進行原住民族教育、文化與生計發展之相關研究。
依據本校「國立暨南國際大學原住民族文化教育暨生計發展中心設置辦法」，第三條規定：本中心得視需要設置下列各組，分別辦理有關事項：
(一)文化組：負責推動原住民族文化保存、母語推廣及其他相關業務。
(二)教育組：負責推動原住民族教育水準提升、課程設計與相關業務。
(三)生計發展組：負責推動原住民族工作與福利之保障，原住民族職業教育發展及其他相關業務。

Origin:

In order to preserve and promote the cultural traditions and native language of the indigenous peoples, improve the economic disadvantages、educational level and deepen the research on the culture and education of the indigenous peoples. in accordance with Article 14 of the University Law and Article 1 of the Organization Regulations of the University Article 5, the "National Chi Nan University Indigenous Culture Education and Livelihood Development Center" was established.

Purpose:

The purpose and tasks of the establishment of the center are as follows:

1. Preserve and promote indigenous culture.
2. Preserve and promote indigenous languages.
3. Training of seed extension personnel and administrative talents for indigenous culture, education and livelihood development affairs.
4. Improving educational achievement of Aboriginal students.
5. Design and deliver courses related to Aboriginal culture, education and livelihood development.
6. Improve the social welfare of indigenous peoples.
7. Construct the social worker system of indigenous peoples and train social workers.
8. Provide vocational skills training for indigenous peoples.

Business responsibilities

Conduct research on the education, culture and livelihood development of indigenous peoples.
According to the school's "National Chi Nan University Indigenous Culture Education and Livelihood Development Center Establishment Measures", Article 3 stipulates that the center may set up the following groups as needed to handle relevant matters:

1. Culture group: Responsible for promoting the preservation of aboriginal culture, promotion of mother tongue and other related businesses.
2. Education group: Responsible for promoting the improvement of the education level of the aboriginal people, curriculum design and related business.
3. Livelihood Development Group: Responsible for promoting the protection of work and welfare of indigenous peoples, the development of vocational education for indigenous peoples and other related businesses.
